Hi everyone. Phewww... I'm away for like months! And today I finally got some time to write and yeah I hope I could cover all the untold stories... hehehe. Anyway, happy fasting everyone!
I am currently in my first week of semester break. I'm sooo happy the fact that I can puasa at home whereby kebajikan makanan sangatlah terjaga as compared to dekat asrama where I used to eat bread for my sahur. Sobsob. T_T *nangis bucu katil*
Teringat mase praktikum lepas, where I had a long fever for like more than a week and doktor siap suruh refer wad kecemasan untuk ambik darah. First time kene cucuk untuk amek darah camtu. And I was very lucky sebab lepas makan vitamin c, ubat hospital and rehat yang cukup I'm fully recovered. Alhamdulillah. Mase tu Allah je tahu how I felt to juggle between my health, assignments and seven observations in a row! And with Allah's help I managed to complete all of them..

I was sent to a convent school - SK Sacred Heart Convent, Bandar Hilir Melaka.
I was lucky enough to be there as they gave me a table in teacher's room and in fact they really have a strong rapport with one and another and I feel it's easy to mingle with them. It was my very first experience to be in a convent school whereby most of them are using English as their first language.

In this series of practicum, I am required to be in the selected school for three months. And I need to teach English and Pendidikan Moral. Previously, Language Arts was my minor where I teach poem, songs and also literature books. Teaching Pendidikan Moral is something new for me as I feel like I need to get use of using Bahasa Melayu as my main medium of communication in class. As a language person, it took me roughly a month to get use to it. For example;
"Good morning" to " Apa kabar murid-murid? "
Pendidikan Moral: 7 out of 11 pupils..
At first, it sounds weird to me but as the time passed by I feel okay and I improved myself from time to time. ANDDD by the way it's not the end of the world. Teaching Pendidikan Moral requires me to crack my head to plan fun activities that would draw active participation from the pupils. Imagine.... teaching Nilai 'Berhemah Tinggi' with an empty hands.. I would be dry. Definitely!!! * yawning*
I carefully plan each lesson and ensure that my lesson gets better from day to day. My goal is simple - to help them to learn something from me. Yup! That is the main reason of why I put greater emphasise on singing, creating and drilling. For example; my intention to start the class by singing is to prepare them for the lesson. ( 1 week = 1 song)

I always bear in mind that I cannot simply pick any songs as each song must meet pupil's level so that they could enjoy themselves and learn the messages from the song itself. Another thing is, I always believe the idea of crafting. As an artsy person, I love to deal with crayons, scissors, glue and pencil. It makes things wonderful and I am really into it - clearly it is the main reason why I bring in crafting

Daddy Shark! Rawwwrrrr! - I purposely did this model of shark for my Rentasan. I was nominated as Pelajar Cemerlang Praktikum and syukur... they acknowledged my hard work - four Head of Department came over and observe my teaching and one of them did the recording. Rase macam artis plak record record ni hehehehe! :p At first macam malu jugak tapi dah nanyi lagu Baby Shark du-du-du-du-du-du-du terus lupa daratan Teacher Nisa niii xD
and kasi can Teacher Nisa masuk gambar jugak okay! hehe
Even though I'm no longer in school as I have finished my phase III of practicum, most of my girls are still able to contact me through facebook, instagram and surprisingly through gmail. Hehe thank you for all your warm wishes and thoughts. Tulahhh bila teacher ade dekat kelas tak rase kehilangan lagiii lepas tuu bila teacher takde kat sekolah baru text cakap rindu ecececeee hehe! mengade eh korang niii! ;D
