Student's life : Welcome back!

Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

Finally I got time to update my blog. Fyi, I finished my practicum a week ago. Phewwww~
What a big relief. No more staying up at night to prepare all the teaching aids, cracking my head to come out with a good lesson and even completing my journals, reflection and record book!

Today is my first week being in ipg and continue my remaining months of interaction hours up till November. It's going to be a looooong journey plus minus the school holiday and what not. Hiks. I think, I start to miss Mdm Reta and of course the kids... I usuallly will listen to her stories and really like the fact that she always gives her best when it comes to teaching. As a senior teacher who soon will be retired, I admire her passion and perseverance as she also deals with health prob. Hats off to mdm reta. WE need more people like YOU...... <3

I'm going to fill up this entry with my 2 Afdal photos....

I love this photo! The moment I put up this video on screen they were like....

" Whoaaaa teacher ajar la macam mane nak buat niiii "
" Eh tu gambar Zharif, Wan Kama dengan Ammar!"

hihihihi, even up until now surely I will giggle whenever I see this. Nakal2 lagi kan teacher dah buat video gambar korang! hehehehe.

Friday (2/9/16) My final day at school : I personally feel that two months was not enough for me as it took me a few weeks to adjust myself and improve on my classroom management. Dealing with Year 2 was a new experience for me as I need to come out with different teaching strategies.  There are TWO rules in my class :

1) Clean your table
2) Turn your chair

I found both rules are very effective in that sense that it prepares them to learn in class especially when their body are facing the front and their tables are free. (Always remember that kids are easily get distracted) Apart from that, I need to drill more on their penmanship skills as some of them face difficulties in writing.. Anyway, it was a wonderful experience as I've learned to be more sensible and care about them. In fact, I believe that kids can read our mind - they'll know whether we're sincere or not. And when they start showing their interest in learning... they will start asking tons of questions!

In short, I enjoyed my practicum months... thank you all for everything. xx

p/s: two days away...
