Bandung ....

Assalam...

First of all I would like to thank my parents for bringing us to Bandung. They weren't agree with my suggestion at the very beginning but well... since their girls are really good in persuading :p , we managed to be there, syukur..

The central reason why I wanted us to have a vacay is I want to break my parents' comfort zone and widening our views on how we see the world through different lenses. Alhamdulillah.. all went very well.. Travelling make me feel how lucky am i today to have everything that I possess now, not more but enough for living peacefully. I don't need to beg for living because I have my allowances, i don't need to go through a congested road since walking a few steps is enough to get into my class. I don't need to worry about how am I going to take my wudhu' without hesitation and a lot more to say. Syukur Ya Allah... Everything that I possess now is more than enough for me. While others are begging in a city I'm having my great time to seek for some souvenirs for my friends. Allahhu..

It was my first experience to fly with Lion Air. When I first landed, I was required to take a bus to go to Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. Then our tour guides which are Adi and Rehan were waving at us at the departure hall to accompany us to go to Bandung. The journey took about 5 hours due to the traffic congestion. Throughout the journey our tour guide help us a lot in explaining history of the city and some monuments and buildings that we encountered throughout the journey.

That hungry face " i can't wait to eat why u're taking pictures! " -*dah siap pegang sudu tu * xD

Talking about food, I think they love tauhu and omelet since every restaurants that we entered served that. One more thing, that 'bekas nasi' that you see in the picture *please see it closely* - I've seen many restaurants use that to put the cooked rice. hehehe..  Oh yeah, I make new friends with my trip mates such as Kak Aziera, Kak Camelia, Adi, Rehan, Nini and a lot more. They are very friendly and helpful - well, they help me a lot basically in taking pictures, accompanying me to the toilet nearby and also finding the best place to buy stuff at the lowest price! I owe you guys a lot.

Yeah, another thing that I found very important is buying a new 'pulsa' (sim-card). Before I went to bandung, i've made some research on the cheapest sim-card there and most of the websites suggested to buy 'Pati' simcard. I found many 'toko pulsa' (kedai simcard) near to the hotel that I stayed. So, I decided to buy pulsa from Indosat because it was highly recommended and the connection was indeed very good! I bought it at 70 ribu with the 3gb internet data. Worth it kan. 70 ribu is about 10MYR hehe. Untung gilaaaaa :p

The next day, we went to Kawah Putih. Eye-catching scenery fills up my view from the very beginning until the moment we reached to the destination. At the beginning i planned to sleep but ended taking pictures and recording some views that draw my attention. I swear it was mesmerizing and hypnotizing to physically witnessing the creation of Allah SWT. Alhamdulillah, Allah gave me the golden opportunity.

We stopped at one area where we need to take 'ontang-onting' to continue our journey to Kawah Putih. Let's see.. if I have its picture...

Tadaaaaa.... Oh yeah, talking about ontang-anting, there's a moment that I found super funny in which one of  Malay makciks shouted to the driver ' eh jangan bawak laju laju, ni nak naik bukit ni, pintu dahla takde ni! ' ahahaha. I couldn't help myself from laughing. ( I was about saying the same thing but it's just circling on my head , maybe sebab tu kut i think it's funny ) hehe. I'm not sure about  exact amount of the entrance fee but it's cheap and very affordable.

When I arrived, I felt cold. Yeah, the weather there was a bit cold compared to the place I stayed.
Our tour guide, Rehan distributed face mask to each of us because the smell of sulphur was very strong at Kawah Putih.

Hanis. Adi, Rehan and nisa

My familia!

My personal favourite picture. hehe. 10 ribu satu gambar k

Kat kawah putih ni ada banyak orang yang offer nak amek gambar kita. tapi kene bayarlaaaaa.. It's all about money babehhh. As for me, why not invest little for a good picture? hehe. The cameraman also helped us to make a few poses and they turned out to be good! Professional betul...

My favourite couple. Haip pkcik baju hitam ni interframe pulakkkk

Bandung from my observation.....

In Malaysia, buses and taxi are common public transports while in Bandung they have Angkutan Kota.

Bandung is a congested city. Their building are very close to one and another, there are many cars and motorcycles..

Bandung is a green city. In fact, most of them are still practicing the traditional way of planting...

Tak complete rasanya kalau tak rasa teh botol! As for me, rase dia mcm teh plus bunga ros muehehe. Dah beli, botol pulang balik okay? :p

I found that it's very difficult to find meat and sea fishes in every meal. Oh yeah, I love the strawberry juice in the picture below. best gilaaaaaaaa...

With the crewwwww.....

Nah setengah juta... kidding! hehe. total duit yang keluar ialah satu setengah juta. During my time,
1 Juta rupiah = RM284.

Things that I bought :

Kebaya: 300 ribu
Beg telekung : 200 ribu (25pcs)
Telekung: 130 ribu
Sim card: 70 ribu
Shoes: 160 ribu
Crocs: 100 ribu
Tshirt: 150 ribu (9pcs)

And etc. there's a lot more and i couldn't recall each of it. Mostly I bought things kat Pasar Baru (Bandung) because it's 3 times cheaper than Mangga Dua (Jakarta) Conclusionnya, Bandung ni memang syurga membeli belah hehe.

Byebye Bandung!
