Interview : IPG

Hi !

SPM results has came out !!! Congratulations for students who got a string of A’s in spm. So, today i wanted to share my experienced during IPG’s interview and things related to IPG.

Firstly, you must bare in your mind that once you entered IPG :

   1.   You must follow the rules. Campus in IPG is differ from one and another.

  For instance ; jeans are not allowed in certain IPG’s, obligation to wear tudung and etc

  2.       You will have an assembly every week

  3.       You need to wear baju batik on Thursday

# Basically, there are 3 stages during interview to enter IPG.

Stage 1 : You need to sit an examination. (M-test)
Regarding the test, revision is not needed. This is because, things that will be tested is only about attitudes. Plus, itu hanyalah soalan objektif ! hehe. Contohnya : kalau lapar sgt nak tak curik buah rambutan pkcik ali sebelah rumah / kalau murid nakal nak denda tak lari pusing padang .

Stage 2 : Interview (group)

You will be divided into a few groups. During my time , they divided us into 4 candidates per one group. No need to worry, even if you took tesl/sejarah/etc , the interview will be in bahasa. What you need to do :

1) You must stand out from the others. Try to convince the interviewers by pointing out your   outstanding points

2) Speak ! Try to speak. But, don’t be too dominant in your group.

3) Body  Gestures. Non-verbal communication also one of the crucial elements

4) Eye-contact 


Stage 3 : Interview ( individual)
This time if you took tesl , you need to speak English. My advises are:

1.   Don’t panic !  - During my time, i cannot speak in English fluently. But, you must show your       interest to be a teacher. This is the most vital element.

2.     Come early

3.      Bring your name tag

4.    Read about current issues – KSSR, Philosophy of national Education 

5.     Typical questions – why you really want to be a teacher ? Do you commit to do everything once you have been elected to be a teacher ?

6.     High confidence level – Answer every questions confidently. Sometimes, if they knew your hobby is singing, they might ask you to sing.

7.    Don’t afraid if you make some grammatical errors. 

8.    Please convince the interviewers that you really want to be a teacher ! 

               

Stop buat muke kerut-kerut kat sini , hehehehe  \(^_^)/  because, we have many exciting activities for  every semester . Activities that took place during my time , For instance;

Semester 1

Semester 2

-          Language Camp

-          Karnival permainan tradisional

-              Presentations

-          Role-Play: King Lear’s drama
